INGREDIENTS
For pastry:- 2 scoops of Chike Birthday Cake Protein Iced Coffee
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cup oat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp vegan butter or cold butter
- 3 heaping tbsp coconut oil
- 3/4 cup cold water
For filling:
- 1 scoop Chike Birthday Cake Protein Iced Coffee
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp almond milk
For glaze:
- 1 scoop of Chike Birthday Cake Protein Iced Coffee
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp almond milk
- Sprinkles (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- For the dough, add your cold butter cubes into a bowl with the dry ingredients and mix with a fork until the mixture resembles coarse meal
- Add coconut oil
- Gradually add water and mix
- Once you make your dough, wrap the dough in plastic wrap and set in fridge for at least 2 hours
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Once the dough is chilled, roll out the ball on a floured surface and flatten it
- Cut the dough into rectangles with a pizza cutter
- Brush with almond milk to use as your "egg wash"
- Mix the filling and spread evenly over half of the dough rectangles
- Place the remaining dough on top and press edges together with a fork
- Bake 30-35 minutes
- Once cool, add glaze and sprinkles on top
- Enjoy!
